The latest young person to add vital real world experience to her CV through TPW has begun her week of full time work. Geena Watson of Conwy, North Wales is using her study leave time from college to persue her interest in design.
During the placement, Geena created a logo to promote herself as a Graphic Designer. This enabled her to increase her knowledge of typography and the importance of brand identity, as well as building essential computer skills for the future.
Geena said “It’s good to have a chance to get some real life working experience – you learn a lot of things that are very different from college and school. The tutors tell us how important it is to get real world experience, and I’ve certainly found it here. This is the second time I’ve been here, and it’s brilliant!”
