Draplin Design CoPretty Much Everything

I’m almost a year late to the party, but it’s been well worth the wait. When someone bought me ‘Pretty Much Everything’ I figuratively jumped for joy. Reading through it, you’re really hit by the down to earth tone, which is wildly refreshing. The book is full of insights, tongue in cheek humour and well crafted Design projects. Reading this gives you that insatiable urge to get out there and craft something great. It’s a fantastic read, so get to it.

PATTERNITY – A New Way Of Seeing

I got this book a few months ago, so yes I’m cheating (but it’s so good). The book has helped me to see the everyday wonders around us. I really can’t do them justice, so go read the summary instead.

The Art Review (March Issue) – Truth, Justice and The American Way

This Issue rounds up the ten shows to see this month and looks at how a generation of American artists use cynicism against mass & corporate culture. There’s some great articles on Trump, and the pressing politics of representation in a post-election context. It’s well worth sitting down with a coffee (or tea) somewhere comfortable to read this, even if you’re not overly into Art.
